What you can order.
Three things a moved-home file can need from an engineer. Send the condition as written and we confirm which one answers it before anything is booked.
Reports for the loan file
For a manufactured home installed at a second site, across seven states.
Structural integrity inspection
An inspection of a relocated manufactured home at its current site by a licensed Professional Engineer, covering the frame, the connections between sections, and the supports and anchors. The signed report is retained in the mortgage file.
Foundation certification
No. A foundation certification addresses whether the foundation meets a specific standard, and a structural integrity report evaluates the home after relocation. A moved-home file may need one or both, so the condition decides.
Re-inspection after corrections
The borrower has a contractor make them, and the engineer returns to look at the corrected items. The result is documented in writing so the file shows the items were addressed.
Not sure which one you need?
Send the address and a few details. A licensed engineer replies within one business day.
